A new Work and Holiday arrangement has commenced with Peru

A new Work and Holiday visa (subclass 462) arrangement between Australia and Peru commenced on 1 October 2017 and applications can now be lodged. This reciprocal arrangement allows up to 100 young Peruvians and Australians per year (1 July to 30 June) to have an extended holiday of up to 12 months in each other’s country, during which they can undertake short-term work and study.
Currently, Australia has work and holiday arrangements with more than 20 countries.
